Vankshita Mishra is a filmmaker, writer & curator based in London and Los Angeles.

Vankshita has an MFA in Film Production from the University of Southern California, completed with the support of the 2023 Fulbright-BAFTA scholarship, 2024 Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Writing Award, and 2024 BAFTA-Pigott Scholarship.

Prior to her MFA, Vankshita completed her BSc. in Natural Sciences (Physics & Chemistry) from Durham University then worked freelance in film, at Hypatia Publications, and at Greenpeace UK.

As a curator, Vankshita organised and hosted a poetry and dance performance at the National Poetry Library, Southbank Centre and two independent art exhibitions in L.A.

She now works as a filmmaker at Other Cinemas and at the National Centre for Social Research as a field interviewer.
